He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, National Lipid Association, and American Society of Preventive Cardiology. Dr. Chindhy has extensive experience in cardiovascular research. He has presented at numerous international cardiology conferences and authored many academic manuscripts pertaining to cardiovascular health, rehabilitation after heart attacks, and lipid disorders.
Dr. Chindhy takes a patient-centered approach to care, spending time to tailor therapies that are suited to the individual needs of each patient. He enjoys educating his patients on lowering their risk for developing heart disease and having a first heart attack or stroke, while also preventing further issues in patients who already have cardiovascular disease. He has advanced imaging expertise, with board certifications in advanced echocardiography, cardiac computed tomography (CT), and nuclear cardiology. He utilizes these modalities in the care of all of his patients, but they are particularly useful in caring for patients with coronary or structural heart disease.
When not working, Dr. Chindhy enjoys traveling, international cuisine, exercising, and spending time with family.
