Biography

Dr van Zyl was born in New York City. He grew up in Canada, South Africa, and Greece. He finished medical school in Cape Town. He did an internship as a House Officer, in General Surgery and Internal Medicine at an Oxford University affiliated hospital in Wales. He finished a family residency at the university of Florida. He also served on the board of directors for the Florida Academy of Family Physicians.

He has been practicing at LPG Family Practice of Clayton Court for over 20 yrs. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and fluent in Afrikaans and English. He enjoys boating, cruises and travelling to exotic destinations.

    Dr van zyl has been taking care of me for many years and I am so lucky to be a part of that. His team from top to bottom is caring knowledgeable and professional. I have always felt like they treated me like a part of the family. The culture of care at this office is so good and I believe dr van zyl is the reason for that.

    The entire team is amazing. Dr Van Zyl is a great Doctor and always seems to care very much about my health. The MA. that I had was great. I seem to have her most of my appointments. I forgot her name however I'm sure it would be listed on my chart. She has agreat personality and is very friendly and professional. Thank you to the entire team!
