埃里克•范伯格医学博士

我叫埃里克·范伯格。我的专业是妇产科。我来自马里兰州的巴尔的摩。我经由北卡罗来纳州的夏洛特来到这里。我在那里实习了20年，我的孩子们长大了，我们家是空巢家庭，我喜欢佛罗里达。在我去夏洛特之前，我是驻扎在佛罗里达的空军现役军人，我们真的很喜欢那里，决定从这里回来。妇产科是一门非常独特的专业。这是外科的副科。我做过很多手术。我擅长骨盆底重建，性医学之类的，但这是唯一一个真正有连续性护理的外科专业。 I see patients year in and year out. So I get not that I do primary care, but I get that continuity of care with these patients. So I get to know them. I get to see them. It's not that I do a surgery and they're gone. They remained my patients for years. And then you throw in the obstetrics, which is just unique to all of medicine, to watch a life come into this world and be part of that. And it's just truly amazing. I chose Lee Health because I was impressed with their mission. I was impressed with how they serve the community. I was impressed when I started talking to some of the docs here that told me that they were actually allowed to practice medicine in the way they felt medicine should be practiced and care for the patients in the proper way. I am trying to become a fisherman. I am not very good at it yet, but I caught a couple of fish this weekend. I was very proud of myself. I'm trying to learn every time I get and get out on the water every chance I get. I'm just really enjoying the water. I love the water, I've been boating, I've been fishing. I want to get back into scuba diving, which I was certified when I lived in Florida 20 years ago and haven't been in the water since. I'm trying to convince my wife to go take sailing lessons. So, I love the water and I'm just really trying to take advantage of what this area has.
