Daisy Award Winners GCH

Say thank you by sharingyourstory of how a nurse made a difference you will never forget at Lee Health! Awards are driven by patient, family and staff nominations.

的DAISY (Diseases Attacking the Immune System) Award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day.

的DAISY Foundation was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes after he died from complications of the auto-immune disease ITP in 1999. During his hospitalization, they deeply appreciated the care and compassion shown to Patrick and his entire family. When he died, they felt compelled to say “thank you” to nurses in a very public way.

We want to hear about it!

BEE Winners GCHNominating a Lee Health team member, physician, or volunteer for a BEE award is a great way to recognize and appreciate team members who have gone above and beyond to provide exceptional service and care.

的BEE award has been around since 2016 and was established to recognize non-nursing team members for "BEEing Exceptional Everyday". Just as the daisy relies on the bee, our team approach to patient centered care would not survive without the support of team members throughout Lee Health.
